The Richmond law firm of Godwin-Jones & Price, P.C. is led by the strategic partnership of Elizabeth Godwin-Jones and Linda S. Price. Both attorneys are devoted to meeting the legal needs of landlords and property managers in Central Virginia.

Ms Godwin-Jones and Ms. Price are respected lecturers, frequently speaking to peers, citizens, and real estate organizations on landlord-tenant matters.  In 2009, they developed the Property Management Certification Program, a course they teach for the Richmond Association of Realtors.  They are also involved in local and statewide trade organizations.

Elizabeth Godwin-Jones graduated with honors from Iowa State University with a B.A. in German and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.  She earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University, where she served on the Editorial Board of Law and Policy in International Business.  She also received a master's degree in German Linguistics from the University of Illinois, studied Low German dialects for one year as a Fulbright scholar at the University of Munster, Germany, and received a licence en droit at the Universite de Pau in France, avec mention.

Ms. Godwin-Jones is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Creditors Bar Association, the Central Virginia Apartment Association, and the Richmond Apartment Owners Association.  She serves on the board of directors and legislation committee of the Central Virginia Apartment Association and is a past president of the Virginia Creditors Bar Association.  She is also a volunteer attorney with the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, and a member of the Statewide Bar Advisory Commission on Electronic Filing.

Ms. Godwin-Jones has lectured for the National Business Institute, the Richmond Association of Realtors, and the Central Virginia Apartment Association.

Admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1980, Linda Price focuses solely on residential landlord-tenant matters and landlord-tenant litigation before the local courts.

Ms. Price earned her B.S. degree with high honors from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary.  Ms. Price is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Creditors Bar Association, Central Virginia Apartment Association, and the Richmond Apartment Owners Association.  She has lectured on residential evictions for the National Business Institute, Inc., and co-authored “Residential and Commercial Evictions in Virginia” for that same organization.
